Here are the finalists for the 2018 GCLS Awards. Finalists and winners are calculated according to the Board-approved recommendations of the Independent Review Committee, and the results verified by an independent third party. More information on the 2018 Awards Changes page.

• To the extent possible, aggregate categories so there are at least six entries in one category
• Adopt the 25%-10% rule to determine finalists and winners based on the number of eligible nominations:
  • 25% of entries are finalists
  • 10% of entries are winners

Under each Category are the number of finalists and winners according to the 25%-10% rule. This rule only applies to Judged Categories; the Ann Bannon Popular Choice and Tee Corinne Award for Outstanding Cover Art are not affected.

Important dates:

• Finalists for the Ann Bannon Popular Choice Award and Tee Corinne Award for Outstanding Cover Art are announced in March 2018
• Finalists for the judged categories will be posted in batches after judging ends on April 15, 2018 and the results verified; finalists will be posted in early May 2018
• Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony to take place during the Annual Conference in Las Vegas in July 2018
