This novel is really technically a fantasy, but I included it because it has a recognizable historical setting of the Middle Ages.
An evil being has been wreaking destruction once a year at a haunted church. The Silver Knight and his newfound companion team up to stop him. They have a plan, but one of them has a secret knowledge of which will doom his quest, and he shares it with his companion. Will all their good intentions come to an end?
